Jeff is the founder of Leading Ed Solutions. He has worked to establish focused, collaborative, and transparent organizations of learning. Jeff joined Fulton County Schools as the Superintendent in June 2016, responsible for 96,700 students. He served for over five years as Superintendent of Beaverton School District, Oregon’s third largest school system. Additionally, he was the Superintendent of Canby School District, also in Oregon. During his 23 years in education, he has served as a classroom teacher, principal and a director of school improvement.
Jason Pace is a serial entrepreneur and advisor to Leading Ed Solutions and is the CEO and Founder of SelectMethods. SelectMethods is an Atlanta, Georgia-based incubator which has launched businesses in the customer experience space as well as two enterprise software solutions. Jason has previously served as SVP of Sales & Partner Development for Regal Software, Vice President of Growth for SpendHQ, and Sales Director at Oracle, Inc.
Lauren (Hurney) Hooven
Lauren is the Project Manager at Leading Ed Solutions. She is an Atlanta native and received her B.A. in Psychology and Human Development & Family Studies from Auburn University. Lauren brings experience in Office Administration and Human Resources from working in both the hospitality and staffing industries. She most recently served as the Internal Communications Coordinator at Chick-Fil-A.
Cathy spent fifteen years of her career with Fulton County Schools. During that time, she played an integral role in opening a nationally High School as a bookkeeper and athletic business manager. She served as the Area Superintendent as an Administrative Assistant providing assistance to 25 schools and and for the Executive Director of Leadership Development and Professional Learning.
Jan is a senior executive with Focused Schools and an expert facilitator, executive coach, and technical assistance provider to school leaders across the country. She has assisted hundreds of school leadership team members to work collaboratively in making data-driven decisions and breakthrough strategies. Jan also served on the national faculty of the Paideia Center at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro and as Master Practitioner at the UCLA School Management Program.
Dr. Clayton Wilcox: Clayton is a proven leader with a demonstrated record of accomplishment in the private and public sectors. He has served as a superintendent of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Washington County Public Schools, Pinellas County Schools, and East Baton Rouge Parish School System. He is a nationally recognized leader in applying first generation technologies in the K-12 environment and a visionary leader with a proven track record in the private and public sectors.
Dr. Dino Coronado has more than 15 years of experience in public education and is a former school district Superintendent of Schools in Phoenix, AZ. He started his educational career as a Substitute Teacher, then worked as a middle school Special Education teacher and football coach. Dino later became a principal, district administrator, and Area Superintendent in El Paso and Houston, Texas. Prior to his educational career, he served proudly as a combat arms soldier in the U.S. Army for nearly 22 years and retired as First Sergeant/E-8.
Margaret White, Ed.S., has three decades of experience as a teacher, principal, and district leader. She served several years as an Area Superintendent over 25 schools and 25,000+ students in Fulton County, Georgia and later as the Associate Superintendent for Professional Learning and Leadership Development. Ms. White has a proven track record for developing school and district leaders and has recently founded Leading for Learning.
