What we say, or don’t say, to students MATTERS

I have learned, from mistakes and successes, that the words I use or don’t use send powerful messages to students. I believe educators, parents, and community have the responsibility to say positive and uplifting things to our youth. Their opinions of themselves are impacted by what they hear and see from us. Our students and children need to know that we believe in them.
